Why are boxers considered athletes if all they do is punch each other?

Boxers are considered to a lot of people (including myself) the hardest working athletes. The fact that you call it 2 guys punching eachother in the face shows how narrow minded you are. You have to have skill in numerous things to become a great boxer it's not always about who has the stronger fist but you're a woman so I would expect you to say something like that.
